This is just a basic simple 2 line phone.My old one lasted 6 years before it just quit and I bought another but it is the only 2 line phone I know with the Line 1 Line 2 buttons locking in that position.Other 2 telephone lines are "e" line switching the default back to line 1 when you pick up. I need to select which line I want and lock it there with a pushbutton that stays locked down since I use an automatic hand set lifter with my wireless headset.When the lift, Im not pre-select lines, for example, each line hand set the 2 button if you want to have to be depressed, my headset, a remote lift button is disabled by.
